This morning mum came round as usual at 6.30 am to look after my daughter while I went to work, she looked so tired, I felt so guilty! The energy she puts into looking after her is inspirational, we’re so lucky! She’s a real mummy mum, and truly deserves a treat!

My mum always looks out for others. this year set up a care service locally as she was so sick of seeing older people round here not being looked after properly. She works so hard and a voucher like this would be a real treat.

She's the coolest Mum you've ever seen,
we went to gigs when I was a teen
She didn't shout when I dyed my hair blue
and said that she liked my enormous tattoo!

These days she lives 200 miles away
But we love to chat every single day
She's my hero and my bestest chum
I really love my special Mum!

I love my mum because she always let me lick the spoon, always gave me the biggest slice and the strongest hugs. She taught me that everything will be ok in the end, and if it's not ok it's not the end. She also gave me great taste in handbags!

She'll pick up a paintbrush & help me out
She's the best Mum without a doubt
She makes me a meal when I've not got the time
She'll offer to iron - hubby's stuff and mine
We love to go shopping & go on theatre trips
She's fab with advice, handy hints & tips
She's my Mum and she's ace
Now let me put a smile on her face!

My mum is one of my closes friends, we can talk all day about any or everything. But this hasn't always been the case! She tought me to be clean, tidy & listen, which is hard for me, as I'm head strong & mostly speak before I think. But as the years past by I want to be just like my mum. She's is warm hearted, so soft and sweet, anyone who meets her likes for company. She's the best cook in the world and always has something in the pot! I'm so lucky to have this beautiful lady as my mum! As she's getting older, she's gets weaker and remembers less! I don't see her as much as I like she lives so faraway. A suptrewseet treat would make her day! ;) Love you mum xxx

I love my mum because she's caring, intelligent, talented... but most importantly, she's my mum!

My mum is crazy and drives me mad but I wouldn't have done all the things I've done in my life if it weren't for her. She gets a little bit crazier by the day but I love her. She accepts me for exactly who I am and she's made me just like that. X

My Mum’s old-fashioned, but that’s ok,
She’s very forthright and likes her say!
Housework and cleaning is not her thing,
She’d rather be outside gardening,

She’s taught me that life’s too short,
To waste time on domestic chores,
‘Granny’ now as well as ‘Mum’
We think she is Number One!

i love my mum because not only did she give me life, she's saved mine a few times now. I've "died" twice and both times whilst everyone else paniced, she brought me back and she never gave up, until ambulances could arrive. She's coped with my allergies and faced so many problems looking after me as I'm fatally allergic to grass, it's not been easy. I'd love to show her just how grateful I am.

The Oscar Wilde quote is right.

When my mum was alive it made me cringe that I was turning into her, now it comforts me.

I remember travelling down with her (on a whim) on the Caledonian Sleeper for a few nights in London, where we discovered Fortnum's with its powder room, heavenly lingerie department, food hall and divine afternoon tea service. We got a bit tipsy on champagne and had a wonderful time at the cheese counter, overbuying, then trying to cram our purchases into the hotel mini-bar!

I'm pregnant again and am secretly hoping for a girl I can share this silly stuff with too.

I'm sure you wouldn't mind if I won and spent it on cheese?!

Beautiful, caring, patient, generous, thoughtful, understanding, forgiving, willing, honest, wise, loyal, unselfish, inspiring… I’d need a whole book to fit all the words I know to describe my mum but if I had to say just one it would be INCREDIBLE.

I love my mum because she has helped me blossom from a little girl into a woman. Without her, I wouldn't be half the woman I am today. She taught me the life skills I will pass onto my own family one day. I'm so proud to be her daughter.

Mums are very special, they are like angels, walking on Earth...from the moment we born we are bound together with a unique connection that can't be really described....and that bound would take us through happy times and sorrows I know. I am so grateful for my Mum, and the feeling that I count on her - helped me through some challenging period...Now that I am older, I love taking care of her, we had just celebrated her 60th birthday and that spark in her eyes - as she looked around....with friends and family...I just hope she is gonna stay with us for a very long time...because I need her very much.
